St. Johns Ship Building’s 98-acre facility is conveniently located along the beautiful St. Johns River, 68 miles southwest of Jacksonville in Palatka, Florida, mile marker 31. The St. Johns, River is easily accessible for vessels coming north along the  Intracoastal Waterway, from the Atlantic Ocean or Jacksonville.
 

St. Johns Ship Building offers top quality new construction, refit, repair and conversion services for all vessels and has key employees with over 30 years experience. St. Johns also offers long term storage in and  out of water.  

Originally opened in the early 1970’s as a full production facility,
the yard was was re-opened in 2006 under new private ownership.
 

With many improvements and upgrades to the yard, St. Johns is equipped to build,refit or repair a wide variety of vessels. Over the past few years St. Johns has established a reputation for its quality workmanship and is committed to developing life long customer relationships.
